Preschool Excursions & Learning Journeys in Singapore
Riri’s Children Playloft is a preschool excursion venue in Singapore, offering calm, toy museum-style learning journeys for children aged 2–6. Located in Upper Thomson, we welcome preschools, childcare centres, and kindergartens planning learning journeys, field trips, and educational visits.
Our cosy indoor toy museum in Singapore provides a calm and thoughtfully designed environment where children explore beautifully curated wooden toys, discover ideas through hands-on play, and practise important social behaviours such as sharing, turn-taking, and caring for materials.
Designed to support early childhood development, our space encourages curiosity, imagination, and slower, more meaningful play. Children are given time to observe, experiment, build, and interact with one another in ways that foster creativity, cooperation, and independence.
Many educators choose Riri’s Children Playloft for preschool excursions and learning journeys in Singapore because the experience complements classroom learning while allowing children to explore freely and rediscover the joy of play.
Supporting Early Childhood Learning

Motor Skills and Body Awareness — building coordination through movement and play
Early Thinking Skills — sorting, comparing, and problem-solving
Creativity and Imagination — exploring open-ended toys without fixed outcomes
These experiences complement classroom learning while allowing children to explore and discover in a meaningful way.

“Our preschool centre, Agape Little Uni Thomson, had the opportunity to bring our K1 class to Riri’s Children Playloft for our Term 3 field trip under the theme Simple Machines.
From the very beginning of our planning, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Lily, our host, was incredibly friendly, accommodating and thoughtful in making the visit a meaningful one for our children.
What truly stood out was that the warmth extended beyond just the people — the entire environment of the playloft exuded a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, making both children and teachers feel instantly at ease.
The play guides — Belinda, Raudhah, Tei Yen and Ting Ting were patient, kind and always ready to lend a hand. They took time to explain how to play certain games or explore specific toys, ensuring that every child could participate and enjoy at their own pace.
Lily’s accommodating nature was especially commendable — she thoughtfully discussed our learning theme with us beforehand and went the extra mile to curate and organize the play areas to suit our objectives.
Different zones were carefully arranged to cater to various types of play and exploration, which made the visit not only fun but also deeply purposeful. What touched us even more was how Lily and her team went above and beyond, extending their care beyond the play space itself — they even helped as traffic wardens, ensuring the children’s safety as they moved to and from the bus.
